India agrees to buy 57 Hawk jets worth about $800 million
British Aerospace has won a 3,640 crore rupee order to provide the Indian Air Force and Navy with 57 additional Hawk Advanced Jet Trainers. The final terms and conditions for the contract were signed in the presence of British Prime Minister David Cameron, who is in India on an official visit.
